Right now I am setting up Remote Access Service on my server at work. I am trying to dial in from a laptop running Windows XP and I keep getting error 678 Remote Computer not responding. It seems as though the modem on the server is not picking up. I can hear the laptop dial in and try and connect and I hear a click on the server, but no noise is being made from the modem and it is not connecting. Please help!
