Default I have a "2wire" modem and i was having trouble with my password?

I need to hook up my laptop so that it can be connected to the internet i know how but i dont remember my password is there a way to bypass the password or to find it out wat it is somehow.
and yes i changed the password I just want to find out what it is w/o going through all the configuration stuff

Since this is a 2wire, your wpa password key will be printed on the unit, unless you changed it. Look on the 2wire router label, there will be a set of braces [ ] with 10 characters inside. If you haven't changed the modem that is your wireless password!

Check it out and let me know.

Added... You do know there are TWO passwords for this unit, One is the administrative password, the other is the wireless password.. They are not the same and you don't need the administrative one to setup wireless, just the wireless password to enter on your computer when it asks for it!
If you changed both, you will have to do a hard reset and reconfigure the system. Most people however, have only changed the admin password and the 10 digit number on the label is still the wireless password!
